「〜はともかくとして」的意思类似于中文的「先不说...」或者「不管...」，用来表示在讨论某个话题时，暂时不考虑或不讨论另外一个话题。

"〜はともかくとして" is a Japanese grammar pattern that is used to set aside a particular topic or issue and focus on another one.
It can be translated as "leaving aside" or "setting aside" in English.
This structure is often used to acknowledge a certain point but then shift the focus to a different aspect of the conversation.
For example, if someone says "彼の服装はともかくとして、彼の仕事ぶりは素晴らしい" (Kare no fukusou wa tomoaku toshite, kare no shigoto-buri wa subarashii), it means "Leaving aside his clothing, his work performance is excellent", indicating that although his clothing may not be great, his work performance is outstanding.
